Albuquerque NM FHA Loan Limits

Albuquerque NM FHA Loan Limits will change January 1, 2014:

HUD announced Friday that the higher loan limits that were on a temporary extension will expire on December 31, 2013. The new loan limits will apply for case numbers assigned on and after January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014.

The key items of change are:

1. The high-cost market maximum declines from $729,750 to $625,500;
2. The floor loan limit remains unchanged at $271,050
3. The formula for calculating area loan limits between the floor and the cap will be reduced from 125% of area median value to 115%.
